Ron Shigeta is a 15-year veteran of the biotechnology industry in the San Francisco Bay Area, building several startups during his industry career as employee, consultant and principal. Ron was a Scientist for Affymetrix, a bioinformatician, biohacker at BioCurious and co-founder of berkeley BioLabs. Ron is the Scientist in residence at Babel and is also the co-founder of Wild Earth and the co-founder and Chief Science Oficcer at IndieBio. Ron completed his academic training at Stanford, Harvard Medical School and Princeton, where he received his PhD in Chemistry, focusing on biophysics.
